Missy was a mother, a daughter, a sister and a friend to many. She was active in her community and knew people from all walks of life. One could not go anywhere with Missy without her running into at least two to three people she knew. She was a hard worker but had such a zest for life and living in the moment. To know Missy it was as if you had known her always, even if you had just met her. She made most everyone she met feel as though they were the most important person in the world, she accepted you for who you were and made you proud to be yourself. Her carefree spirit was infectious and her love for life as well as everyone she knew made this tragedy completely unbelievable. Missy had an invincibility about her; however as many of us in the community unfortunately found out, this invincibility was no match for an impaired driver. In a matter of seconds Missy was taken from us and a community was changed forever.
However, Missy’s love and life that touched so many would outshine this tragedy. Through Missy's Keys4cabs, we can honor her zest for life while saving the lives of others.
